ποΈ My guest today is Peter Dunworth, a wealth strategist with over two decades in traditional finance, and now founder of The Bitcoin Adviser, a company helping investors buy, secure and manage their bitcoin.
Yes! since I am (so) not an expert on these kinds of investments, I also needed to hear this (and other) explanations several times to get it. and I think I'm starting to get it :)
This was a GREAT episode Efrat, and as I was listening I could sort of feel the "importance" of what he was saying (particularly as a Bitcoiner). Peter has such a great feel for everything and has a very relatable way of explaining things that just felt like it all made sense. There were a ton of statements that stood out to me, one of which was how Bitcoin "restores integrity to work". Never heard anyone say it like that, but it's so important and spot on. His position on how things like the SBR and other seemingly positive legislative changes on the national scene give us some optimism, but that problems can start to build out of complacency or apathy. Also, his explanation of how we are in a debt based system instead of an equity based system (and what that really means) was awesome. A debt based system favoring those who can print money while equity based systems favor those who hold the equity (e.g., Bitcoin). He really comes at things from a unique (and obviously well educated/experienced) perspective and presents his concepts in a very understandable manner. Really enjoyed this one, and feel strongly that this is a super important episode for everyone, but particularly Bitcoiners.
I just listened to the whole thing; great episode!
Peter's explanation of Saylor's "bitcoin accretive per share" strategy is excellent:
